  • (L-R): Brady, Williams, Lochte.

Celebrating his 39th birthday today, Tom Brady will certainly go down as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.

Since being drafted back in 2000, the American hasn’t looked back.

He boasts an impressive CV with a number of accolades including four Super Bowls, his most recent being last year. He also picked up the Super Bowl MVP on three occasions and two league MVPs in 2007 and 2010.

Today, he sits fifth in the all-time standings for career passing yards (58,028) and third in touchdown passes (428).

He was part of the team that set a new record of 21 consecutive wins in 2003-04 and led the Patriots to their first undefeated regular season three years later.

Records continued to tumble, including being the first unanimous choice for The Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player Award.

1952: Osvaldo Ardiles, ex-Tottenham midfielder and Argentina World Cup winner (64).

1974: Michael Gray, former England footballer who played for Blackburn and Wolverhampton Wanderers (42).

1984: Ryan Lochte, multiple Olympic and World Championship gold medal winner (32).

1985: Sonny Bill Williams, New Zealander rugby player and World Cup winner (31).
