On site are a range of activities, including beach volleyball, a climbing wall and taster pool for people to get a feel of kayaking.
That, added with a wide range of product and information stands, is something founder and owner of Outdoor UAE Daniel Birkhofer hopes gives Adventure Show goers a rounded experience.
“The main purpose of the event is to remove entry barriers, inform people about what they can do and in an easy, direct way,” he said.
“We have made sure we have end users, the real passionate people, who want to share their experiences of going hiking, climbing, camping and not just trying to sell a service.”
The show closes Saturday and Birkhofer is keen for as many people as possible to turn out and explore the wonderful world of adventure that is on UAE residents’ doorsteps.
“We want to get more people outdoors, be healthy and happy, give them information and take them by the hand, take them on the journey and show them what is out there,” he added.
