  • DUBAI FITNESS CHALLENGE

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, was the star attraction as more than 12,000 descended on Safa Park Friday to mark the start of the 30-day Dubai Fitness Challenge.

The challenge encourages residents to embrace a healthier lifestyle by taking part in daily exercise and trying out new activities and makes Dubai one of the most active cities in the world.

Also in attendance was England and Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand.
