  • Baines, Ravanelli and Saviola are just three stars who celebrate their birthdays today.

The fit-again Everton and England left-back turns 31 today and will be hoping he can recapture the form which has made him one of the most attacking defenders in the Premier League.

Baines, who has won 30 caps for his country and will be hoping to earn a recall to Roy Hodgson’s squad for next summer’s Euro 2016 tournament, missed the start of the season after having surgery to his ankle.

The former Wigan man, who has created more goals than any other defender in the history of the Premier League, featured for the Blues from the bench in the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace and is set to rival young gun Brendan Galloway for a starting berth.
