  • The unique agreement will see players from the Dubai academy travel to eastern Europe.

Dubai-based Basicball Basketball Academy have signed a new partnership with European side OKK Celik Zenica, which has given player Max Klein the opportunity to train with the team in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As part of an emerging relationship between the coaching centre and club, the academy in the UAE has agreed to exchange players with Zenica – with Klein the first from Dubai to reap the rewards from a career-changing experience in competitive second division basketball.

    – Al Ain: Kabayan Gents Tailoring register win

    – Al Ain Air Championship: Fursan Al Emarat reaches final
    – #360fit: Yoga vs Pilates – which one is right for you?
    – XCAT Racing: Organisers explore new safety options

The two set-ups will also take part in shared camps, meets and help the progression of young players with valuable game time.

The Basicball Academy was founded by legendary Serbian star Zoran Savic and hosts elite level summer camps, as well as many other coaching and learning opportunities at the sports school.

Meanwhile, Zenica has an illustrious history with the NBA with the likes of former stars Ivan Opacak and Hasan Rizvic both enjoying spells in America.

Klein is in south-eastern Europe for a training camp.
