    Competitors descended on Dubai to test their mettle in the ultimate endurance test: Ironman.

    Ironman Dubai 70.3 saw participants compete right next to the iconic Burj Al Arab, starting with a swim that began at Jumeirah beach, competitors then left the city behind for the bike leg, which took participants to the Arabian Dunes and back.

    The final, running leg was back at the beach, with a huge crowd of supporters cheering on the participants.

    There are good days and there are "those" days. I surely did not regret participating in the relay group today. It was a test of will power despite the many elements during the race. After completely crashing down on the 19th km where walking doesn't even seem possible, I looked back at the struggle and triumph of my good friend @dontstop101 last Dubai Marathon. He fell, stood up, walked and ran again up to the finish line. He was my inspiration today along with the rest of the athletes and supporters. Especially the hundred of Filipinos who went out there and tested their limits. I knew I will still end this at SUB2. Maybe not even close to my last PB but surely a battle I fought hard for. One thing is for sure, I will be back next year - STRONGER.
