The final race of the 2XU Triathlon Championships Series is fast approaching for your last chance to participate in the popular event.

Held on a designated running track with closed road to ensure safety, the race will be at Mamzar Beach on the morning of Friday, March 27.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced triathlete or just want to do your first triathlon, the event if perfect for all ages and abilities. Three distances are on offer for both kids and adults, with Super Sprint, Sprint and Olympic.
The Super Sprint for juniors aged 12 and under is a 200 metre swim, 8 kilometre bike and 2.5km run, while the distance for ages 13 and older is 375m, 8km and 2.5km. The Sprint for all ages is a 750m swim, 24km bike and a 5km run.
The Olympic – the most challenging distance in the race – is a 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run for every age group. You can either enter yourself as an individual or take part as a two or three-athlete relay team. In a team of three, one person will do each discipline, while in a team of two, one person will do two disciplines.
Prize giving will follow the last race category of the day. All finishers will be awarded medals, while first, second and third place in each age group will receive winners medals.
The overall series winners, as per the final rankings, will earn trophies and valuable prizes. The entry fee is Dh225 for ages 18 and under, Dh300 for adults 19 and over and Dh175 for relay teams. A discount is available for families of four or more, who will get 50 per cent off their total entry fee.
