The UAE National Final of Red Bull Car Park Drift 2017 is set to take place on November 17, within the Green Planet Parking of Dubai City Walk.
With gates opening at 2pm to the public, the National Final is expected to draw in a large crowd who will witness some of the region’s most talented drifters battle it out through a course designed to push them to their limits.
The judging criteria will be heavily based on how well the drivers continuously drift throughout the first two sections, around boxes and gates, followed by the infamous pendulum. Drifters will have the opportunity to score extra points based on their car design, amount of tire smoke produced with every drift and last but not the least, car sound.
Daring the drivers even further, this year’s Red Bull Car Park Drift UAE National Final brings a new obstacle to the course layout, The Buzzer Gate. The obstacle will challenge drivers to successfully hit a hanging buzzer while maintaining a perfect drift.
