At India Club on Sunday night, Rajith was made to battle in the final of the Girls’ Singles Under-10 competition before she beat Danica Ferrao 23-21, 21-10.
The first game could have gone either way as Ferraro fought hard, but Rajith was much more in command in the second.
In the other final match – the Girls’ Singles U-16 – Crasto overpowered Nida Najeeb 21-13, 21-12.
The Veteran Singles (Above 45) will be played between Xavier Raphel and Fahyani Rianto.
In the semi-final matches, Raphel beat Roby Varghese 21-14, 21-14, while Rianto defeated James Varghese 21-11, 21-15.
Two quarter-final matches of the Girls Singles U-12 division was played on Sunday, with Nidhi Desai advancing after a hard fought win 21-19, 23-21 over Thanseeha Charivupuradathil Biju.
In the other match, Ganga Pradeep beat Aleena Qathum 21-10, 21-18.
