  • ADIB also received the Sports for Life award for most participants (180).

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) dominated the fourth edition of Abu Dhabi Corporate Games, when they were crowned Grand Champions of the popular event at Zayed Sports City and three other venues in the capital.

ADIB won the paintball and tenpin bowling titles, took all three podium spots in shooting and bagged third place in tennis and beach volleyball. They finished with 600 points, with Daman (400) second and Du (350) third.

Daman won the football tournament and tennis doubles, apart from getting medals in cricket and badminton.

Cricket was fiercely contested, before Averda prevailed.

The games were a huge success, with numbers almost doubling across the board. There were over 2,000 participants from 50 companies competing in 15 disciplines.

Benoit Montin, Managing Director of Corporate Games, said: “We are delighted with the overall outcome. The numbers went up this year from participants to the number of visitors who came.

“It is important for us to know that our sponsors and supporters have enjoyed the entire activities and that they are very much looking forward to the next game.”
