E-sports climbs up to second place, du LaLiga HPC maintains lead

    Al Jazira Club and du LaLiga HPC was the most anticipated match of the week, between league leaders, du LaLiga HPC and the reinforced Al Jazira Club team.

    The first half saw a foul on the edge of the penalty box for du LaLiga HPC, Rashed Ahmad took the shot that put the HPC squad in the lead with a solid strike into the bottom right of the net on the 16th minute.

    As the first half was coming to a close, a phenomenal corner strike from Al Jazira’s, Saeid Al Maamri sealed the draw with a diving header into the back of the net at the 29th minute.

    However, it was Mohannad Wahdan from du LaLiga HPC who sealed the match at 2-1 after headed the ball from a beautiful corner kick off by Mohammed Rajeh.

    TFA met E-sports with both teams playing hard to climb up the standings table.  E-sports opened the score line at 6 minutes with a superb shot from Antoine Honein who hit the back of the next with fierce precision.

    E-sports snatched the match with a 2-1 win at the final whistle, securing 2nd place on the league table, ahead of next week’s match against league-leaders du LaLiga HPC.

    In Ras Al Khaimah, Emirates Club met Kalba’s Legends in a high-energy match with Emirates Club’s captain Suhail Al Neaimi scoring the team’s first goal at the 19th minute.

    Twenty minutes into the 2nd half saw Legends retaliate with a goal, but Emirates Club hit the back of the net one more time to win the match 2-1.

    Focused on moving up in the league table, Al Ahli Club met Elite in Abu Dhabi. Tactical play and clean passing allowed Eduardo Barbosa from Abu Dhabi Elite to weave through Al Ahli’s defense to hit the back of the net 2 minutes into the match.

    Al Ahli Club fought back to tie the score in the first half, but Abu Dhabi Elite were determined to win and finished strong with a 3-2 score, which allowed them to climb to 4th place in the league table.

    FCBEscola and EFF battled it out in Dubai with tensions high between the Spanish and French teams. It was EFF who took the lead early on and with a fantastic goal by Zayed Jawad at two minutes, and held the lead through to the end of the match with a clean 3-0 win earning them 5th place in the league table.

    The most intense match of the day was played between Elite and PSG.  Determined to secure their first win of the season, PSG kicked off strong, fearlessly attacking the Elite defense who held their own.

    With loud sideline coaching from both teams, tensions were high, but neither team was able to find an opening through the other team’s defense line, leading the match to end in a goalless draw.

    Next week, du UAE FAAL League leaders du LaLiga HPC and E-Sports meet in what promises to be the game of the week, with both teams sights set on first place in the League table.
