DMS Active, the Middle East’s leading international fitness and active living event, is debuting alongside Dubai Muscle Show this year. It’s a new link that ensures everyday fitness enthusiasts who are more interested in staying healthy than building up their arms to rival Arnold Schwarzenegger can still enjoy Dubai Muscle Show.
Comprising activewear brands such as Workout Empire and Reebok, and nutrition brands including Kcal, SciMx and PhD Nutrition, DMS Active will present a number of interactive features, educational events and fitness demonstrations designed to inspire the show’s 20,000-plus visitors.
With a series of meet-and-greets with influencers, athletes and health professionals, as well as competitions, sample giveaways and demos of the latest fitness and exercise classes, DMS Active is for everyone.

REEBOK LES MILLS LIVE DUBAI
Global fitness giant Les Mills will take over DMS Active on December 9 with a special one-off event designed to get Dubai sweating.
Part of a series of worldwide fitness festivals, this all-day training session has been known to hold up to 6,000 exercisers and is suitable for participants of all fitness levels.
Kicking off at 8am and running all the way through to 7pm, classes include Bodypump104, Bodystep110, Les Mills Sprint10, Bodycombat74 and Bodyattack100 all hosted by Les Mills programme directors, Rachel Newsham and Lisa Osborne.

CROSSFIT GOLDBOX GOLD RUSH COMPETITION
The Middle East’s premier CrossFit competition, this year’s competition will see 100 male and female competitors battle it out over a full day of gruelling events on December 8 that will challenge even the most elite athletes in this high-intensity fitness craze.
Viewing is open to all DMS Active ticket holders and is not to miss if you’re in need of some serious fitness and physique motivation.

DUBAI POLE CUP
The Middle East’s first-ever pole-fitness competition, the Dubai Pole Cup aims to promote pole fitness as both a sport and an art in the region.
With Amateur, Semi-pro, Professional and Male categories all announced, competitors will be flying in from all over the world, with some of the most recognised names in the industry already signed up.

GRAVITY PARKOUR RUN
Don’t miss the UAE’s first-ever Parkour competition on December 9, as competitors jump, climb, rock and roll across a custom-designed set up.

MUSCLE & FITNESS MODEL SEARCH
Think you’ve got what it takes to become the new face of Muscle & Fitness Middle East magazine? Open to anyone over 18 years old, one male and one female will be chosen to grace the front cover, with entries judged on a combination of a healthy lifestyle, fit body, charisma, glamour, stage presence and the ability to project yourself as a global fitness personality.
Comprising two rounds (swimwear and eveningwear for men and sportswear and evening gown for women), there will also be a cash prize for the lucky winners.
