And Stadium, the active lifestyle retail brand, has he latest equipment from Wilson and Adidas to help UAE residents at least look the part on the court.

This year, Wilson has released a new line of Wilson Pro Staff racquets, which have been developed over a three-year period in collaboration with tennis great, Roger Federer.

Three of the four new racquets feature a 97-inch head, a reduction from the traditional 98inch head, but are still designed to deliver more power than previous models.

The new Wilson Pro Staff RF97 Autograph, favoured by Federer, has a 10% larger sweetspot and is the first autographed racquet from Wilson in 40 years.

Adidas’ tennis line is similarly revamped this year.

Its men’s Barricade tennis shoes have had a makeover with a redesigned ballistic mesh upper that hopes to shed weight without sacrificing stability or durability.

Meanwhile, the trainer’s chassis hopes to maintain “the same stability it’s known for but allow the foot to flex and twist while striving for those difficult-to-return shots”, according to Stadium’s press release on the new gear.

Keeping cool and comfortable on the court has been made easier with Adidas’ line of tennis apparel.

The Adidas Barricade Bermuda shorts are made with climachill technology, designed to keep players cool with their mesh-like fabric and technological enhancements.

Both Wilson and Adidas tennis equipment and apparel are available at Stadium stores across the UAE.
