  • Your body. Your progress. Together – that is what the team behind new UAE-based activewear brand Elevaete stand for.

Their mission is to create a line of high quality activewear that supports women in the UAE on their fitness journeys and encourage them to live ‘elevaeted’ lives.

With that in mind, they’re introducing their first limited-edition piece, the ‘Emira-Tee’ in honour of the upcoming UAE National Day.

This ‘made in UAE’ cropped tee can take you everywhere, from the dumbbells to the ‘dukkan’, with mesh panels for ventilation in signature Emirati colors and a play on the traditional team jersey.

You can wear it on its own, or layer it with a colour of your choice underneath.

With this being UAE National Day weekend, the first 45 customers will get two day passes to the Spa at the Anantara Palm Resort to celebrate the nation’s 45th year.

Elevaete is the brain child of UAE-born-and-raised duo Dana Miskulnig and Tanvi Malik. They’ve paired up to give a welcome boost to the female fitness community in the Emirates. Their first release is the Emira-Tee but a four-piece collection in two colour ways will follow shortly.

“Elevaete began with the purpose of providing products for empowerment and a community for encouragement,” says Malik. “The UAE has shown us what growth and achievement can look like so we wanted to celebrate it with pride through our first garment, the Emira-Tee.

“Representing this country that has become home to us all, we created a play on the traditional team jersey with large lettering on the back and embroidered details along the side with the year of nationalisation as well as our brand logo.

“The mesh panels across the front are in the colours of the flag as a design feature as well as for breathability during training.”

‘Community’ is the keyword behind this brand. During Elevaete’s launch last Monday, Miskulnig and Malik brought together a group of inspirational women from the UAE community, not just to share with them their exciting plans, but to connect them together with the common goal of empowerment.

Whether your fitness aspirations are lofty or modest, this activewear line is created by women, for women, and will suit your needs.

We rate it: 10 out of 10: With a strong message behind the brand and an awesome fit and design of the Emira-Tee, this is a perfect purchase for this UAE National Day weekend.
