It’s been a couple of years now since Reebok first collaborated with Tara Stiles, their global ambassador and yoga guru of Deepak Chopra, to launch a superb line of yoga apparel.
I think many people associate Reebok with fitness, but their involvement in the yoga world is perhaps less known. I was recently reminded of this fact at Reebok’s Yoga at The Palace event where Linda Chambers Chochrane, Reebok Les Mills yoga master trainer for the Middle East, put us through our paces.

It gave me an opportunity to test their yoga clothes performance and see how the different styles looked in action.
Former model Tara Stiles and the other designers involved with the collection wanted to get away from the usual yoga uniform of black leggings and create a line of clothing that was fun and colourful as well as stylish and functional, both on and off the mat.
This season’s collection continues that theme, drawing inspiration from retreats – check out the bold, scenic mountain landscape leggings.
Here is a round-up of my favourite Tried & Tested items:-
Leggings
All the leggings feature PlayDry polyester elastane interlock technology to help keep you dry and freshthroughout your workout so that you can stay focused. The flat lock stitching reduces the risk of chafing and the wide elastic waistband gives a snug but comfortable fit. Price: Dh195
Shorts
I love these shorts. Whenever I can, I practice outside and these are ideal in the UAE temperatures. Perfect for you Bikram yogis out there, too. They are very soft and comfortable and although they are very short, the cut and design ensure a secure fit. Price: Dh125
Crop Top
This is my favourite bra top which offers light support, so fine for yoga. It looks amazing on its own with some leggings, but if you prefer to be a bit more covered up, then there are plenty of cool tops to choose from. Price: Dh195
Tank Top
This Hi Hello Hey tank top is a great choice as it goes with virtually all of the other items of clothing. It’s made from ultra-soft modal dralon which drapes beautifully rather than clings, but the fit on the hips is close enough to ensure that it stays in place during postures. The racerback allows ease of movement. Price: Dh135
All things yoga, including mats, blocks and even yoga slippers are all available from Reebok, so there is absolutely no excuse for not rolling out that mat.
We rate it: 10/10 for this line’s edgy, modern, rebellious style and performance.
Where to buy: Reebok have their own stores where, obviously, this apparel is available but I first came across the 2015 autumn collection in Stadium and was blown away by its style. It rocks.
