  • Happy being single: Wozniacki fielded some awkward questions about her love life.

Sport360's tennis expert Reem Abulleil is stationed at Wimbledon throughout the tournament and each day will be providing an alternative outlook on the happenings at SW19.

Since Rory McIlroy ended his relationship with Caroline Wozniacki, the Dane has bravely faced the media on numerous occasions, and Tuesday at Wimbledon was no different.

She fielded ridiculous questions about her personal life, one which suggested maybe she would consider online dating.

The former world No1 could have opted to skip the question or respond aggressively. Instead, she said: “I think I’m not that desperate. To be honest I’ll just see what happens. I’m perfectly fine being single at the moment.”

The press conference then turned into a match-making session as someone asked: “You seem to have a great admirer in Feliciano Lopez?” Wozniacki responded: “You noticed?” The reporter said: “He told us. He said he watched two of your matches, likes you, admires you, knows your dad.”

Wozniacki laughed: “He’s already making his way in through my dad?” The reporter added: “Then he followed you on court today.” Wozniacki: “Yeah. I noticed he was on the sidelines in Eastbourne. No, he’s a great guy. Playing well… This is very awkward.”

You can say many things about Wozniacki but above all, she’s definitely a good sport.

    Janowicz the gamer

Jerzy Janowicz tried to explain his less than stellar results since he made the semis here last year. Apparently, he likens his tennis career to a video game.

“I lost my skill in Battlefield. I lost my ranking a little bit and my killing rate was much higher. I had 2.2 and now it’s 1.8,” said the Pole, referring to what he had to explain was a video game he plays called Battlefield.
