  • On a mission: FuturePro Academy

Radhika Tulpule, a former India National champion, will bring her immense experience of playing at the highest level and coaching at the FuturePro Tennis Academy (FPTA), the first centre of which was launched in Dubai on September 1.

Apart from being a former ITF and WTA Tour player, Radhika is now ITF Level III coach and is imparting her knowledge from three centres in India.

The first Dubai-based centre of the academy is based out of Horizon English School in Al Safa and will have two well-lit courts available for play to all residents from 16:00 until 23:00 on weekdays and from 07:00 until 23:00 on weekends.

As an introductory offer, the academy is offering complimentary assessments and lessons for participants until September 15. The main focus of the academy will be overall player development and the unique programmes which include working on fitness, technique, match play and mental conditioning.

These are specially designed based on years of professional playing and coaching experience of Tulpule and research from the ITF Coaching & Development Centre.

The Academy has invested in several state-of-the-art training and stroke development tools which will significantly assist in improving technique and accelerating the learning curve for the students.

The Academy will also feature special clinics and lectures from former players and experts. Rahul Tulpule, co-founder and CEO of FuturePro, said: “We believe there is huge difference between teaching tennis and developing champion players – and we are here for the latter one as we strongly believe that Dubai deserves it.”

All the academy coaches are professional players at National level in their respective countries, which will allow highest level of competitive training experience sharing with the students.

FuturePro has also partnered with HEAD, the world’s No1 tennis equipment brand, which allows students to avail expert advice on correct racket and equipment selection from their complete range at special rates.
