E-Sports Football Academy is one of the leading football institutions in the Middle East and has a busy programme of events happening in the coming months.

It kicks off with the EFA Fantasy Football League this weekend.

Designed as a camp for kids during the school holidays, youngsters will enjoy everything involving the beautiful game, from fun ball games to professionally coached football sessions.

Taking place at centrally located venues, including the Dubai American Academy and Wellington International School, EFA look forward to welcoming children from 09:00-13:00 between Sunday, October 26, and Thursday, October 30.

For just Dh500, EFA offers a five-day programme packed with fun activities.

Single days are also possible at just Dh125.

Whether a complete beginner or a more advanced player, the EFA Fantasy Football League will be a fun and active programme for kids aged five to 16.

EFA’s first Dubai Diamond League tournament of the season is also just around the corner.

The Diamond League is the first venture of its kind and will consist of four separate football events, spread over the next five months.

Each tournament will have its own special appeal, divided into different surface options; astroturf, futsal, indoor and grass.

The first event is the Astro Challenge taking place on Friday, November 7.

Five-a-side matches will be held in a tournament style at the fantastic facilities of GEMS World Academy, located in Al Barsha South, Dubai.

Open to mens and mixed teams alike, the Dubai Diamond League is ideal for competitive as well as social teams.

Mix it up: Men and women can play at the same time. Eye on the future: Kids receive expert coaching. You decide whether you join just one of the challenges or sign up for the whole league. Teams are allowed up to and including nine players (five women/four men for mixed teams).

The cost per challenge is Dh600 per team or you can pay Dh1,800 to sign up for the whole series and receive one event for free.

Aside from trophies and medals there are many prizes to be won, including cinema and waterpark tickets, discount on pitch rentals, adidas gear and more.

Awards will be presented at every challenge and also for the overall winner of the series.

The Futsal Challenge will be held on December 5 and the Indoor Challenge and the Grass Challenge will both be held in 2015, on February 6 and March 6 respectively. EFA has been delivering first class programmes to aspiring, young footballers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for more than 10 years.

EFA has continued to evolve as a development platform for youth footballers to ensure that all players from the age of three to 18 have the support and opportunity to improve their game both technically and tactically.
