The duo found themselves in the last group for the final round on the Majlis course following an opening 63 (9-under par) over the Faldo course. They then added a 66 over Majlis for a 129, 15-under par total.

Suresh Shewakramani and Ashok Sindhu made a good defence of the title they won last year with scores of 68 and 67 for a 135 total and second place, while a further shot adrift were Jugwinder Brar and Kush Sama with scores of 75 and an incredible 61.

The Gross section produced yet another husband/wife winning pair in Mark and Mimi Hosking who dropped only six shots over 36 holes to post a total of 150. This was four clear of their closest contenders, Ian Scott and Jenny Ayres.

Bakal’s superb 74 gross seals Yas Links crown

Making steady progress: Anastasia Bakal (c).

Nett winner last year, Anastasia Bakal showcased her immense progress when she won the gross title in the Yas Links 2015 Ladies Open with a superb round of 74.

Bakal’s effort was two shots better than Kim Chiang, who finished on
    gross 76.

Stephanie Corking shot an impressive nett round of 63 which gave her the first place in the nett category by as many as three shots over Maxime Minty, who closed with nett 66.

Leslie Lloyd was the day’s top nett winner amongst all the Yas Links Lady members after completing her round with a nett 67.

Prizes were presented by Yas Links captain, Stephanie Wilson, and Golf Operations Manager, Stuart Howieson.
