All three teams scored resounding victories over Al Fahim, Hexa Oil and Gas, and Environment Agency respectively, but the next games for them will decide if they are going to make the cut.

At Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Interface piled on the runs (117) in the second half of their inning to post a healthy 175-6. In reply, Al Fahim were all out for 113 to record a 62-run loss despite Shahzad Malik’s half-century.

Faisal Baig and Mujahid Amin took six wickets between them to dismiss Hexa Oil and Gas for 73 after Al Faraa racked up 159-4 in what turned out to be a 86-run triumph.

In another game, Etihad Airways defeated bottom team Environment Agency by 36 runs for their second win in as many games.

Interface will now meet Emirates Cricket Board Greens in the Group B decider, Al Faraa play the winless Adyard in Group C, while Etihad Airways face Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank in a Group D encounter.

In another match, defending champions Alubond Tigers sealed their third straight victory after a 152-run thrashing of ADNOC and look certain to top Group B with a match left against Al Fahim.
