He added: “Dubai has been chosen as the venue for the launch event for its increasing importance in the sporting landscape, its luxurious environment and its recent history in hosting some epic cricketing battles. We welcome you to ‘join the conversation’. ”

The on-stage conversation and dinner, which will take place at Rixos The Palm Dubai, is to be moderated by cricket commentator and journalist Harsha Bhogle.

This global series of events will see future shows in New York, Melbourne and London, as well as more star appearances from Tendulkar, Shane Warne, Brian Lara and a host of other celebrities.

As part of the event's Dubai launch, Tendulkar and Akram will meet the public at the Arabian Center mall on October 9 at 2 pm and two lucky winners will be selected and each will receive an invitation to attend the prestigious event that evening.
