  • Drummond goes to the basket.

Andre Drummond scored 33 points and had 21 rebounds as the Detroit Pistons needed four overtimes to beat the Chicago Bulls 147-144.

Reggie Jackson added 31 points and the Pistons saw off a Bulls side who were on a four-game winning run.

In defeat, Chicago's Jimmy Butler scored a career-best 43 points and Derrick Rose plundered 34 points.

Jackson said of the win: "I felt awake. I felt alive. I wasn't really tired, especially when we got into those late overtimes. I think just the moment takes over. I am just happy to be a part of a game like that."

He added, on the team's website: "You just dig deep and find a way to keep the beat. I think both sides did that. I think we put on a great show tonight."

The Golden State Warriors made no mistake this time against the Milwaukee Bucks, the only team to beat them in the NBA this season.

In Oakland, the Warriors came from behind to beat the Bucks 121-112, six days after their unbeaten start was halted by the same opposition. Stephen Curry led scoring for the Warriors with a 26-point haul.

The San Antonio Spurs remain undefeated at home this season, with their 115-107 success against the Los Angeles Clippers a 15th straight win for the hosts at the ATT Center. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 26 points.

The Minnesota Timberwolves would love such a record, and had lost eight of nine games before tackling the Sacramento Kings. However they won behind 32 points and 10 rebounds from Andrew Wiggins, earning a 99-95 victory.

DeMar DeRozan's 30-point game helped the Toronto Raptors win 108-94 against the Miami Heat, while the Boston Celtics lost 109-101 at home against the Atlanta Hawks and the Orlando Magic beat the Portland Trail Blazers 102-94.

The Utah Jazz and Dallas Mavericks both posted 97-88 wins, respectively defeating the Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies, while the New York Knicks improved their winning streak to three games with a 107-97 victory over league whipping boys the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets lost 104-97 against the Indiana Pacers.
