Senegal make training look like a lot of fun

Senegal have lit up the World Cup with their skill on the field after a sparkling 2-1 win over Poland in their opening game.

But now the Lions of Teranga are also enlivening training sessions with some sweet dancing feet – as our video shows below – and make sure to turn the sound up as the dance is accompanied by a smooth chant as well.

The Senegal fans are also keeping everyone entertained off the field with their vibrant support for their team – as well as cleaning the stadium up before they leave.

The west African nation are certainly having a great World Cup so far. Let’s hope it continues.

Fans in Mexico struggled to contain their emotions after their team’s shock 1-0 win over over World Cup holders Germany.

Such was the impact of the moment when Hirving Lozano smashed home the game-winning goal at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium that seismologists in Mexico City detected an “artificial rumbling” possibly caused by “widespread jumping” after the goal was scored.

For many Mexican fans, it was like winning the World Cup itself.

Ronaldo scored both goals in the 2002 final

Brazilian Ronaldo knows the heartbreak and joy of playing in a World Cup final. Back in 1998, the striker was one of the in-form players in France, netting four times until the title decider against the hosts. But he had convulsions hours before the game but yet he insisted on playing. Brazil eventually lost the match 3-0.

Four years year, it was a completely different story as Brazil and Ronaldo reigned supreme in Japan and South Korea. Ronaldo netted both goals as Brazil beat Germany 2-0 to win their fifth World Cup.

Thanks to COPA90, watch what the former Brazil striker said on those two moments in the video below.
