Mohamed Salah has one last chance to redeem Egypt's woeful World Cup

It has been a bitterly disappointing World Cup for both Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Both nations came in to the tournament with high hopes but for the Al-Suqour those dreams were smashed with a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of hosts Russia, followed by a more respectable 1-0 loss to Uruguay.

The Pharaohs were unlucky to lose their opening game to Uruguay, also 1-0, but there can be no excuses for their 3-1 capitulation to Russia in the second match.

Both teams head home on Tuesday but a win tonight in Volgograd would do so much to spirits within the team and back in their respective nations.

But who will win? Check out our Head-to-Head stats below.

Cristiano Ronaldo - and the rest of the Portugal team - take on Iran on Monday night

A fascinating clash in Group B at the World Cup as Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal take on the dogged Iran on Monday night at 22:00 UAE time.

Portugal currently lead the group on 4 points with Spain but Team Melli sit just one point back after their opening 1-0 victory over Morocco.

Depending on the other result in the group – when Spain meet Morocco – Iran may need a victory to take them into the knockout stages.

Will this encourage Iran coach Carlos Queiroz to throw away his usual caution and go all out for the win?

Spanish marksman Diego Costa limbers up in training

It’s a massive day of World Cup action in Russia with four matches scheduled.

At the moment Spain and Portugal lead the group on 4 points with Iran just one point back on 3. With the Group so tight even a one-goal loss for Spain and a one-goal win for Iran would see the mighty La Roja heading for home.
