  • Lesnar was at his dominant best on his return to Raw.

In all his might, with all his power, Brock Lesnar returned to the WWE on Monday in the only way Brock Lesnar can.

He set about dismantling all before him.

New Day were the first to suffer before Kevin Owens, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio all joined them – Lesnar sending a warning shot to the WWE Heavyweight champion ahead of WrestleMania.

Roman Reigns was already slumped to the canvas after his One vs All match against the aforementioned wrestlers and a further eight assailants before being dealt with in dismissive fashion by the new challenger.

Lesnar delivered an F5 to complete one of the most destructive five minutes of action the WWE Universe has seen in a long time and it was great to watch.

It ignited the crowd, brought to life the show and ensured the disappointment that top billing Superstars such as Seth Rollins, John Cena and Daniel Bryan are all likely to miss WrestleMania was briefly forgotten.

Running through the men in the ring, Lesnar delivered a huge shot in the arm for April’s showpiece, at which he will likely take on Reigns in a rematch of last year’s main event.

Whether or not Reigns still has his title by then depends on the upcoming Royal Rumble but either way, if these two are put together in a ring once more then it will no doubt serve up a feast.

So good, so entertaining was Lesnar’s brutal reintroduction, Paul Heyman was reduced to a sideline act.

And for anyone who reads this column regularly (a huge thanks!), you’ll know we are massive fans of Heyman.

Anyway, we digress. The importance of Lesnar’s return was massive for the WWE and it was a truly impressive display from a truly impressive wrestler.

We’ll take the long way round but here’s hoping more Superstars are hastily taken for a trip to Suplex City for a long time to come.

    KALISTO’S BIG MOMENT

If Lesnar stole the headlines, it was only just.

Punching well above his weight, Kalisto took the United States title on Raw this week and it was another sight to behold.

An opportunistic roll-up had Kalisto claim the biggest win of his career and it was certainly one for the underdogs.

Alongside Sin Cara, The Lucha Dragons have been making huge strides in the tag-team division and Kalisto taking the US Title is remarkably refreshing.

Since John Cena vacated the title, Del Rio has been a rather dull incumbent.

It’s now up to the WWE just how far they want Kalisto to go and how they see him as a champion.

While it lasts, it will without doubt be entertaining viewing.
