The Fatima bint Mubarak Academy has for many years championed the growth of female sports. One such event, the FBMA International Show Jumping Cup, now entering its fourth edition, will feature two days of six competition classes.
Children aged 12 – 14 will be seen competing for the opening trophy of the event in the CSICH style class; a mixed category with a obstacle heights of 1.15 metres.
Similarly, riders aged 16-21 will also vie for glory in a mixed category – this CSIY class having a maximum height of 1.35 metres with a befitting cash prize of 50,000 AED.
Spectators will want to hold their breaths ahead of the final all-ladies spectacle, the CSIL2. This category showcases revered international female talent looking to end their 2-star class effort by overcoming the 1.45 metre challenge for 300,000 AED.
Apart from the main event, there are plenty of family-friendly equestrian-inspired activities, encouraging youngsters to engage in horse-riding. Likewise, live music, food trucks, art displays and market stalls will also provide leisure and entertainment for guests throughout the Cup.
