The popular Colour Run returns for its second straight year in Dubai on November 29 at Dubai Autodrome.
The race has been dubbed as the ‘Happiest 5km on the Planet’, and it’s easy to see why.
The Colour Run has become the single largest event series in the United States and is proving to be very popular around the world, staged in 45 different countries.
The UAE hosted its first ever Colour Run in December 2013 that saw ActiveLife ambassador and Olympic double gold medallist Kelly Holmes and triathlete Omar Nour among the 8,500 participants in Dubai.
A few months later, Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit made its Colour Run debut in March which saw participants aged as young as one to a 100-year-old.
And the Dubai event will be no different this year. It’s up to you on how you complete the 5km distance with your friends and family – whether you walk, crawl or dance, you’re guaranteed to have a smile on your face. The popular event will see a kaleidoscope of runners showered in vibrant coloured powder as they pass through the course’s four colour stations with only two rules to follow: turn up in immaculate white and cross the finish line plastered in colour.
