Running
The Wings for Life World Run is a global running and wheelchair event which starts at 3 PM on May 3, 2015 and finishes when the last person is caught by the Catcher Car.
Everyone – wheelchair users and runners alike – will start globally at 11am UTC (3 PM Dubai time) and everyone will be chased, slowly, but surely, by the Catcher Car.
When the Catcher Car passes you, your race is over, but the fun carries on as finishers catch the shuttle buses back to the starting area, where so everyone can celebrate in style.
100% of the Wings for Life World Run proceeds goes to the foundation which is researching to find a cure for spinal cord injury.
