Triathlon
More than 200 triathletes are expected to flock to the Jebel Ali Golf Resort for the final race of the JLL Triathlon series. This race is the perfect opportunity for contenders interested in the ITU World Triathlon season opener soon to kick off in Abu Dhabi in early March.
Several different categories, including team relays, are available to regular contestants and first-timers alike. Beginners can tackle the 375m swim before cycling 10km and then dart towards the finish line for 2.5km. Meanwhile, veterans can test themselves in the ‘Sprint’ race, essentially doubling each distance of the aforementioned category.
Children as young as 13 are allowed to sign up for the closing event.
