Triathlon
Situated 20 minutes from Muscat lies the beautiful Barr Al Jissah cove and the Shangri-La Hotel, which takes in the breathtaking vista of the Gulf of Oman; the merging of the Hajar Mountains and cerulean skies of the sea.
Triathletes will delight in the prospect of diving into these waters for a 750m or 1,500m swim, depending on category, before emerging to bike 20km/40km and run for 5km/10km.
Children do not miss out on this golden opportunity as the junior bracket invites younger participants to bike 2km and then dart 500m on foot for their duathlon.
