Jonathan dos Santos has joined the Los Angeles Galaxy from Villarreal in a move that will see the midfielder play alongside his older brother Giovani at the Major League Soccer club.
The 27-year-old Mexico international has played 29 times for his country and has left LaLiga to become the Galaxy’s third designated player, meaning his wages can be paid above the team’s salary cap.
Dos Santos started his career at Barcelona before leaving in 2014 to join Spanish rivals Villarreal, for whom he made over 120 appearances.
