Max Verstappen won the 2016 Grand Prix on his Red Bull Racing debut.

As the dust settles on Max Verstappen’s astonishing maiden F1 victory at the tender age of 18 years old, Sport360 takes a look at five others who won races as young men.

Sebastian Vettel won the Italian Grand Prix aged 21 in 2008 to take the mantle from Spain’s Fernando Alonso, who won the Hungarian Grand Prix aged 22 in 2002.

When Bruce McLaren won in 1959 colour cameras were not yet operational and a fresh-faced Lewis Hamilton was a winner in the 2007 Canadian Grand Prix.
