Established in the Middle East in 2012 the Sports Industry Awards series is the official celebration of the leaders, decision makers, organizations, facilities and campaigns that have contributed to the development of sport in the past 12months.

This incredible success story has, like all major sports, been built on teamwork, professionalism and business acumen. The vision and core strategies provided by the sport industry have ensured the region has stayed ahead of the game, constantly setting new standards that have become the envy of the international sporting arena.

In 2015 the awards expanded to include an Asian edition with Manila being awarded the inaugural host city, and Bangkok taking centre stage in 2016. To read more about the 2016 SPIA Asia event download the post event report here.

The winners will be announced in front of their peers during an evening of celebration at the black-tie Gala Dinner September 19, 2017, in Bangkok Thailand
