For two full months between 12th June and 30th August 2015, Dubai Sports World offers basketball lovers the chance to play in cooler climates while the weather outside is simply too hot.
There will be two basketball courts available, while the IFA Basketball Academy will run a coaching programme throughtout the summer.
Basketball fans will be thrilled to know that this year’s hoops are brand new and NBA approved! Our four basketball courts measure 50m x 25m, in-line with international standards.
The IFA Basketball academy is run by former professional Ishmael Awange, who played in the USA and China. Ishmael’s engaging tuition programme features a series of sessions designed to enhance individual skills, shooting and dribbling, passing and team play, as well as offence and defense.
