  • This morning, Sri Lanka are celebrating this morning as they stormed to victory over India in last night’s T20 encounter. A depleted Sri Lanka side beat India by five wickets with two overs remaining having bowled India out for 101 after 18.5 overs. It was one of India’s lowest scores in T20 international cricket.

West Ham United are celebrating this morning after knocking out Liverpool in extra-time to progress to the next round of the Emirates FA Cup.

West Ham United will now face Blackburn in the fifth round with a place in the last eight up for grabs should they win.

Al Jazira have made it to the Asian Champions League. They beat Qatar’s Al Sadd on penalties in Abu Dhabi last night.

Al Jazira, struggling in the league this season, secured their place in the group stages after a thrilling penalty shoot-out which saw former Barcelona star man and now Al Sadd player, Xavi miss a penalty.

Finally this morning, it’s partly cloudy in Dubai, but don’t worry, Tom’s phone says there is absolutely no chance of rain.
