Marcelois one of football's most fun, engaging personalities.

How much does Marcelo love his hair?

For a player who is the heir to a grand Brazilian tradition – marauding full-backs known for their flair – the Real Madrid left-back’s hairstyle has become a trademark, his own personal signature along with his thrilling runs down the left flank.

But faced with the choice of cutting his hair or foregoing his usual car ride to training and being forced to show up on horseback, Marcelo had to pause and give this dilemma serious consideration.

It’s this fun personality that has endeared him to his fans across the world – along with his deep love for the game, honed since his days as a young football fan and nurtured all the way to three Champions League titles and plenty of glorious moments for club and country.
