To put Ostersunds FK’s remarkable rise into context, Arsene Wenger was already in charge of the Arsenal before the Swedish club were formed, back in October 1996.

Wenger’s Gunners take on the Allsvenskan side in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League last-32 clash at Emirates Stadium on Thursday evening – and hold a 3-0 lead from the first leg.

But Ostersunds’ rise to a clash with the Premier League side has been remarkable, having spent just two seasons in Sweden’s top flight before qualifying for European competition.

Managed by Brit Graham Potter, they have seen off the likes of Galatasaray, PAOK and Hertha to reach the last 32 of the competition and set up a glamour tie with one of Europe’s most recognised clubs.

While the tie itself may be over thanks to Arsenal’s 3-0 first-leg win in Sweden, the guys at COPA90 have taken a look at Ostersunds’ incredible journey. Check out the video above – it’s definitely worth a watch.
