Six years on from the infamous spot-fixing tour of England, Pakistan return to the country and are led in attack by Amir.
Next week’s Test at Lord’s will be Amir’s first back since playing on the same ground during that fateful tour and earlier Monday England captain Alastair Cook warned he was in for a rough reception from fans.
However, that doesn’t seem to be too much of a concern for Amir who made an instant impact in Pakistan’s warm-up match ahead of the first Test, beginning July, 14.
He accounted for former England opener Marcus Tescothick in his third over, as captured by the Somerset Cricket Twitter account.

Full of confidence, Amir added a second wicket in his next over, bowling Adam Hose with an inswinger that kept a little low with the left-arm quick swinging the ball back into the right-hander from round the wicket.

After lunch Amir wasted no time in taking his third, bowling Peter Trego with a sublime inswinger.
