Tennis star Ana Ivanovic is currently in the UAE to participate in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, and during her stay the former world No1 took the chance to explore the historic Al Fahidi neighbourhood.
Away from the glitz and glamour of Downtown Dubai or the Palm, Al Fahidi offers a more genuine representation of the city's culture and history – as Ivanovic discovered.
During her visit, the Serbian took in the various artwork on display, visited the famous Majlis Gallery, and met with local artist and calligrapher Khaled Al Saai.
