Sam Allardyce‘s reign at Everton got off on the right foot with a 2-0 win over Huddersfield but a true test awaits as the Toffees travel to neighbours Liverpool on Sunday.
But among the pre-Merseyside Derby talk of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the tactics his side will adopt at Anfield, was Bitcoin.
Yes, the 63-year old ended up giving his views about investing in crypto currency and apparently the Everton boss has a few regrets about it.
“Bitcoin I wish I would have invested in that,” he explained.
Well, it started at 1,000 at the start of this year. It’s 14,000 now.”
“Well, I wouldn’t risk it at 14 grand, but I might risk it at a grand. Do you know what I mean?”
And that’s not all, Allardyce even inquired about fining a reporter should pay, after someone’s phone interrupted him.
