Manchester United‘s ‘Lion Kings’ won’t be taking to the field together for the Manchester Derby but that didn’t stop Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba from teaming up on a different kind of pitch.

Pogba starts a three-match ban this weekend and will miss out on the hotly-anticipated clash at Old Trafford with Manchester City on Sunday.

However, Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho was given a welcome boost with the Portuguese able to call upon Ibrahimovic, Phil Jones and Nemanja Matic.

And in the lead up to Sunday, Ibrahimovic appears to have visited his banned team-mate for a game of foosball.

Pogba wrote on Twitter: “Lions also play foosball @Ibra_official #babyfoot @ManUtd.”

The midfielder’s words are of course in reference to an interview featuring Ibrahimovic in which the Swedish striker said “lions do not compare themselves to humans” when asked to rate himself against other strikers in the Premier League.

From the footage above taken from Pogba’s Instagram, it appears as though lions aren’t particularly adept at table football, though.
