The 27-year-old from Bangkok fired six birdies in a flawless opening round at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
Aphibarnrat, a three-time winner on the European Tour, said: “The best thing is you change the whole time. A lot of great players can adjust quickly. I mean, the first year, I struggled but the last couple of years I performed quite well to get used to the conditions.”
