  • Five-time Open Championship winner Tom Watson spoke on Wednesday ahead of what may be his final appearance in the event.

He won his first British Open tournament in 1975 and felt a sense of belonging following his second Open victory at Turnberry in 1977.

He will be caddied by his son Michael at the weekend for what will be an emotional walk for him over the Swilcan Bridge at St Andrews.
