Real Madrid are playing their first La Liga game of the season against Sporting Gijon on Sunday (23rd August).
The team trained at their Ciudad Real Madrid base on the eve of the away fixture – and Rafa Benitez declared that he is excited and proud to be in charge of ‘Los Blancos’.
He is confident that the squad can regain the Spanish title.
