  • This past week saw the Red Bull Playstreets at Bad Gastien in Austria, where Swedish freestyle skier Jesper Tjader took to top prize.

As you can see here in this series of videos posted by Red Bull, it was a close battle at the top.

But, when it came time to drop in, Tjader stomped most all of his run with ease and style: a rightside double flatspin Japan grab followed by a frontside 450 on the Canon-Rail, then a switch 180 nosegrab, a leftside cork 360 mutegrab and a 450 gap on what’s known as ‘the mother-in-law-rail’.

The judge’s final decision was a nail-bitter, but Tjäder would score just ahead of Andri Ragettli in overall points to claim that first place spot.

You can see Tjader’s run above, while here is how Ragettli narrowly missed out.

In third place came 19-year-old Lukas Mullauer who lives next door to the setup of the Red Bull Playstreets setup.

You can watch Mullauer’s run below as the Austrian pipped Laurent De Martin of Switzerland by a 30 points difference, finishing on 99.
