    FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP UAE 2017
    Ongoing until Saturday, December 16

    Real Madrid arrive in the UAE for their mouthwatering semi-final clash against Al Jazira on Wednesday at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi (9pm kick-off), with the winners of that contest facing either Gremio or Pachuca in Saturday night’s showpiece at the same venue (9pm).

    Earlier on Saturday, the match for third place (6pm) will be contested in the capital.

    Zinedine Zidane’s men face the Pride of Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

    DUBAI WORLD SUPERSERIES FINALS
    Thursday, December 13 to Saturday, December 16

    The BWF World Superseries finale once again takes place in Dubai as the world’s best badminton players battle it out to end their season on the biggest high.

    Defending champions Viktor Axelsen and Tai Tzu Ying will be in action at Hamdan Sports Complex while Indian star P. V. Sindhu is sure to draw in the crowds.

    P. V. Sindhu reached the semi-finals last year.

    T10 CRICKET LEAGUE
    Thursday, December 14 to Sunday, December 17

    The inaugural T10 Cricket League kicks-off in Sharjah, with it being the first time the 10-over format has been played.

    The likes of Shahid Afridi, Eoin Morgan and Dwayne Bravo will be some of the stars in action in Sharjah, while the likes of Wasim Akram and Virender Sehwag add legendary touches to respected teams as mentors, coaches and icon players.

    Spread over four days, the tournament boasts a knockout format with six teams competing.

    West Indies star Bravo was called up as a late replacement for Kumar Sangakkara.

    AROUND THE WORLD CHARITY PADDLE 2017
    Friday, December 15

    Head to Sunset Beach to watch the UAE’s largest paddle event, now running in its ninth year.

    With over 120 paddlers, the non-competitive gathering sees people paddle in and around the Nakheel World Islands – all in aid of raising funds for UAE Red Crescent.

    WADI ADVENTURE RACE

    The 14th edition of the popular race returns as participants take on either the testing 5km route, challenging 10km or gruelling 15km obstacle course!

    JLL TRIATHLON SERIES 2017/2018 – RACE 1
    Saturday, December 16

    Round off your 2017 with a triathlon race at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort Hotel as the first JLL tri event of the series takes place.

    After swimming, cycling and running across various distances, enjoy a well-earned breakfast, as part of the race package, with fellow competitors post-race!
