The top two on the UFC 205 card in New York City were in particularly confrontational moods when they came head-to-head.

That was even delayed by the lateness of McGregor, something that drew ire from Alvarez who saw the Irishman’s tardiness as disrespectful.

He went on to say that McGregor was not the figure Ireland deserved before walking off prior to McGregor’s arrival.

When he finally did turn up all hell broke loose, resulting in a snatched title, antics with a chair and Dana White having to hold back his most marketable commodity as tempers flared.
