Usually chief flag waver for the UFC, president Dana White was left frustrated by their 208 event.
Controversy overshadowed the main event as a refereeing decision, or lack thereof, left a bad taste in the mouth for many as Holly Holm was defeated by Germaine de Randamie.
Boos rang out in the arena after De Randamie avoided point deductions for striking Holm after the bell en route to becoming the UFC's first female featherweight champion.
Clearly, even White was left frustrated by the decisions made by the referee.
As you can see in the video above, White even goes as far as saying the ref should not be in main event matches as he is too inexperienced.
The inaugural Featherweight title will be up for grabs on February 11 and headliners Holly Holm and Germaine de Randamie will be the contenders.
While the main event is worth the wait, EA SPORTS UFC 2’s in-game simulation engine predicts the winner of the fight in the above video.
Who do you think will win the inaugural Featherweight title?
The UFC head to Brooklyn, New York for UFC 208 in a card headlined by women's history as the featherweight division is opened up by Holly Holm and Germaine De Randamie.
In the 'MMA in Minutes' preview show, MMA expert Alex Rea takes an in-depth look at the three fights topping the main card and gives his predictions for how he thinks they will go down.
