    10:30pm – Mumbai beat Kolkata for the eighth straight time in IPL

    Ishan Kishan’s 21-ball 62 helped Mumbai Indians clinch a massive 102-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL on Wednesday.

    Mumbai scored a massive 210-6, which proved too much for Kolkata who were dismissed for 108.

    Mumbai Indians wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan hit fifty off just 17 balls to help his team post 210 for six against Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday.

    Kishan’s fifty was the joint fastest half century for his team in IPL.

    6:00pm – Kolkata Knight Riders bowl first against Mumbai Indians

    In the IPL, Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Dinesh Karthik has won the toss and elected to bowl first in the clash against Mumbai Indians. You can follow the live action from the Eden Gardens in Kolkata over here.

    5:45pm – Bangladesh’s upcoming tour of Australia cancelled 

    Cricket Australia have scrapped the slated bilateral series with Bangladesh in August this year due to it being financially unviable. Bangladesh were due to play two Tests and three ODIs in the series according to ICC’s Future Tours Program (FTP).

    4:00pm – Odds stacked against Delhi Daredevils ahead of Sunrisers Hyderabad clash

    In the IPL, bottom-placed Delhi Daredevils will host league leaders Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Feriz Shah Kotla stadium on Thursday. With seven defeats in 10 games, the Daredevils are all but out of the race to the playoff spots and will require an extraordinary set of results to go their way to stand any chance.     02:00pm – Jacques Kallis impressed by India U19 star Shubman Gill

    Kolkata Knight Riders coach and South Africa great Jacques Kallis has heaped praise on 18-year-old Shubman Gill who scored an unbeaten half-century in the side’s win over Chennai Super Kings last week in the IPL. Gill had earlier been named as the player of the tournament in the ICC U19 World Cup won by India.

    12:30pm – Cricket Ireland receptive to touring Pakistan

    Cricket Ireland high-performance director Richard Holdsworth has welcomed reports saying that the cricket team will be invited to tour Pakistan in the new future. PCB chief Najam Sethi will be in Dublin when the two sides meet for Ireland’s historic first Test at the Malahide stadium and is reportedly going to extend a formal invitation during the match.

    10:30am – Mark Wood cuts shorts IPL stint to return to England

    England pacer Mark Wood has ended his maiden IPL stint with Chennai Super Kings to return home. Wood played only one match for the Super Kings and has not been picked in the side since the tournament opener. He will link up with Durham in the County Championship Division Two as he looks to play himself into contention for the England squad for the upcoming Test series against Pakistan.
