    6:21pm – Chandimal to miss Asia Cup

    Sri Lanka’s Test captain Dinesh Chandimal has been withdrawn from the squad for this month’s Asia Cup due to a finger injury.

    3:45pm – Cook brings up century

    Alastair Cook has scored a century in his final Test innings, signing off on a storied career which had also begun with a century against India, back in 2006 in Nagpur. Cook brought up the mark as England piled on the runs on Day 4 of the fifth and final Test of the series.

    10:30am – England looking to build big lead

    England ended day three 154 runs ahead of India despite Ravindra Jadeja’s fighting 84 not out for the visitors.

    The hosts had to weather another excellent spell of bowling from India’s quicks, as well as Jadeja himself, after bowling India out for 292.

    Alastair Cook, playing his final innings in Test cricket, ended the day unbeaten on 46 alongside captain Joe Root, with England 114/2.
